Nighttime disturbance, Blue-lights and noise Silence and fire, A psychotic voice Running scared Running wild Running down Leave me alone Neighbour is singing, She never stops Pick up the glass, Now patch her up Running scared Running wild Running down Leave me alone Close to the edge Close to home Close to the vain And close to the bone

Seventh Sea 03:19
Seventh sea Dead-end city streets Half crazy Or maybe just dizzy Allegedly Not Free but someone else than me Caught in a spiders web within I've seen what could have been Not free, don't believe in me Like a stone Surrounded all alone Seventh sea Seasick in the street Allegedly Not free but someone else than me Caught in a spiders web within I've seen what could have been Not free, don't believe in me

Daybreak speaks The milk turned sour at noon Pavlov's dog And the cow jumped over the moon Oh what I see The Disney-greeen lawns Oh The sewers overflow with goo Don't you know you are the sinking too Pavlov's dog is you Your head is full Of what your eyes refuse to see And what you thought was them Is really you or me Oh what I see The Disney-greeen lawns Oh The sewers overflow with goo Oh The sting of disappointment Don't you know you are the sinking too Pavlov's dog is you too

Happy Pills 03:07
Silent wind break A scarecrow's heartache An icepick So cold it cuts the air Greytone landscapes A snail-trail too late I am A boxer without arms A pill to make up A pill to shake up A pill to wake up Your head The true end is silent If we meet again Don't speak it's true name To him I am A boxer without arms A pill to make up A pill to shake up A pill to wake up Your head

about

A friend of mine asked me to play bass in his new band.
I was eager to play music and it was a chance for me to do something else than sleeping on my sofa, which I did a lot because antidepressive medicine makes me sleepy.
The song "Lawnmower Flamethrower" was one song I brought to the rehearsal room and tried to teach the group, without success.
I then elected to record it in the rehearsal room on my own.

Another friend of mine borrowed me her Korg Volca Keys, in the hope that I would make more use of it than she had done herself.
I used it to make what I refer to as a sort of distorted ring-modulator sound, which you can hear all over this little album.

The opening song "The Witch" is the oldest, and unlike the other four songs, I did not write it. Sarah played the guitar for me and I asked her to record what she played and then I piled a bunch of instruments on top of it.

The album cover is based on a drawing I made of my love who is living in Los Angeles and whom could not visit me because of Corona. I added myself, a tortoise and a giraffe to the drawing and made screen-prints of it.
